To me the new modern Monessen is the foundation of a greyhound a true Greyhound that has heart and that has Pride that is moving into this new century of Science and Technology and will take the essence of what a greyhound is and Implement that into this new society that we live in this world that's ever changing and really rapidly changing before our eyes and have the skills and the knowledge coming out of graduation at Monessen to Take On The World at graduation I think the steam lab that the elementary is a great starting point for kids I mean there's kindergarteners in there like learning how to do things and and manipulate and build things and I think that's where it starts and then I think the job Exploration with the rise set codes that we're going to eventually incorporate is going to help them now we can do this and now we can identify what kind of job it goes with so we want to build all the way up we've had spaces redesigned re-imagined With A Music Space the state of the art are Hound Hub here where we're at with a cafe and flexible learning space our e-gaming lab uh where we're designing video games uh as well as tracking cyber threats as well as our TV studio that's state-of-the-art that we'll be doing our morning announcements through just so many different is here the gym floor looks amazing it's a lot brighter in there I think our community is going to be impressed when they see it our coaches are excited our kids are excited I think it's been long overdue and we need to move on with the times sometimes you you get stuck where you're at and we need to make these changes and I think it'll bring people back into the community bring kids back into the community the new reminiscing has literally revolutionized the way my children come to school we did have them not in the school for a minute but we brought them back because it was it was very important when we saw the the changes in the school that Dr M has brought  the upgrading of the school the upgrading of the program the involvement that he has with the teachers and the students and then also with the faculty and staff so that's the New Monessen is actually encompassing of of a complete body organism that's working together to grow Monessen always reminds me of a river that is Flowing my great-grandmother used to say stagnant water stinks you want to keep on flowing and so I look at this as a flowing moment in and it's only flowing in a positive way
